Detector Inspectors uses the First Alert SMICO105-AC for the published combination-alarm service. It is a hardwired, interconnect-capable smoke and CO alarm with a 10-year sealed backup and an end-of-life warning.
Published replacement price
The price is $85 per hardwired combination detector, including the specified alarm, parts and labor. Jayson confirms which units are due and reviews the work before replacement.
Combination does not mean “place anywhere”
Smoke and CO placement guidance overlaps but is not identical. Alarms should follow manufacturer instructions and applicable codes. A combo unit is useful only where its location satisfies the needs of both functions.
