What a service visit covers
Jayson works through the home from sleeping areas to basement, checks each smoke alarm, cleans accumulated dust, replaces standard batteries where needed and tests the installed alarms. Units that have reached end of life, are visibly aged or fail testing are identified before any replacement work is discussed.
A practical choice for homeowners
This is a focused residential service, not a broad electrical sales call. The published basic service is $125 and includes batteries for up to six detectors plus cleaning, testing and inspection of every detector in the home. Parts and labor are included in the published replacement prices.
When to schedule
Schedule when you move into a home, cannot identify the dates on existing alarms, hear recurring chirps, notice yellowed units or realize the household has not completed a detector check in the last year. For an active alarm or suspected fire, leave the home and call 911 instead of scheduling routine service.
